Each EMP Brushless Motor has a 10 digit numbering system. For example: C2800/12-1000. The letter C stands for the type of motor. The first two numbers (28) represent the diameter of the motor. The second two numbers (30) represent the length of the motor. The third set of two numbers (12) represent the number of winds (also called turns). The last three to four numbers represent the KV (also known as rpm's per volt)
EMP offers one of the most complete and comprehensive lines of Brushless Electric Motors available. From high torque out runners that are capable of swinging large props to high rpm in runners for the most demanding electric Heli's. Each motor case is machined from aircraft grade Aluminum and then fitted with a very strong and heat resistant variety of rare earth magnets called Neodym or Neodymium. After the winding process and final assembly is completed each motor is inspected and tested to ensure they meet the high standards of the EMP Quality Control Department.
